The Brief
Summarising your objective for the project, presenting design concepts and advising on materials and cost.

Introduce and appoint professionals to the project and work with them to produce a scheme for you, advise on planning policy and gain the necessary consents for the project.

The Works
Produce a schedule of works for the project and advise on budget. Manage the tender process for contractors and advise on contractor engagement.
Daily management of site contractors and liaison between contractors, architect and the client including quality control, planning and building regulation compliance.
Provide regular client reports on progress and budget management throughout the project.
Appointing a project manager is a very personal decision. I will give you appropriate advice for the period of the property and the design of interiors, kitchens, bathrooms, furnishings, floor finishes, paint colours and wall coverings, lighting, plumbing and electrical installations, gardens and landscaping, period details, restoration of original features including decorative plasterwork and fireplaces, joinery details, soft furnishings and procurement of artworks.
